We are pleased to announce that the main caterers for the 2019 Welsh National Sheep Dog are Cegin Gwenog, Tony and Mair Hatcher, a local family company, they will be providing Breakfasts, Dinners, Tea, Evening meals and snacks throughout the three days of trialling.



Cegin Gwenog Catering

Cegin Gwenog Catering, which was established in 2000, and is run by Tony and Mair Hatcher, based in Ceredigion, West Wales.

They are caterers who specialise in occasions wherever the location whether it be a wedding, family occasion, event catering, corporate catering across Wales.  They are fully equipped with the latest mobile catering equipment, which means they are able to prepare and serve high standard food based upon your requirements.

They are a reliable family run catering company ensuring your piece of mind, meaning that you can sit back and enjoy the occasion.

They are experienced event caterers having been fortunate to work alongside various show organisers over the past 10 years throughout Wales.

The three biggest shows/events that they cater at are The Royal Welsh Agricultural Show where they are based in the Stockman’s Pavilion & Bar, The Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society Show where they cater for the President’s Dining, Members, Judges & Stewards and the Public dining and the National Urdd Eisteddfod where they are the main caterers based in Caffi Mistar Urdd.

They can provide catering in excess of 1000 covers per meal sitting. During their biggest events they employ a team of 50-60 staff members, who all receive the required food hygiene training prior to each event, who work efficiently as a team to ensure that their service is of the highest standard possible.

They have also catered at formal dinners throughout Wales where they were required to serve 3 course meals for around 500 people alongside table bar service. As a company they pride themselves in being able to provide an excellent standard of service to extremely high numbers of people during any event/show, a number does not phase them.

Mair’s wealth of experience is supported by Tony’s managerial skills at front of house and by their reliable, experienced team of staff members. Their aim is to make your day as special as possible.

They pride themselves in providing a personalised service to suit your requirements and take care in making sure the events run smoothly. As a company they are committed to using seasonal, organic and locally sourced ingredients meaning that their menu’s include freshly sourced foods making them as flavoursome as possible, whilst ensuring that they support local suppliers.
