Fundraising

 

Saturday 29th December Barry, Diane & Logan Williams hosted a charity floodlit sheepdog trial at Tirmynydd Farm, Salem, Llandeilo

Proceeds of the evening were for Kidney Foundation Wales and the 2019 Welsh National Sheepdog Trials. A total of £2615 was raised and included Barclays Bank match funding.

£2265 was presented to Kidney Foundation Wales and £350 to the 2019 Welsh National Sheepdog Trials in Llandeilo.

Over 50 competitors competed on the evening and Judged by Mr. Calvin Jones, the winners were:

Dave and Alison Sharpe held a Christmas trial on Sunday 23rd December at Llwynbedw Farm, Llanpumsaint. The trial was restricted to Carmarthenshire members and there was also a competition for the best Christmas hat which was won by Mr. Stuart George, Llangenech.

The Welsh National Sheep Dog Trials Food & Craft Festival committee wishes to acknowledge the grant received from the Trustees of the Williams Brown Hill Charitable Incorporated Organisation towards the event.

Thank you to everyone that supported the fundraising sheep dog trials at Pencoed, Dryslwyn, on Sunday the 7th of July by kind permission of Heddwyn Thomas and Family, over 80 competitors competed.

The trials were well supported by the local community and a sum of £783.00 was raised towards the Welsh National.
